#Updated: Finally, ASUU Supends Strike After 8 Months. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has suspended its eight month strike, Campus Catch NG has confirmed. The decision was taken unanimously by members of its National Executive Council after a lengthy six hour meeting which began on Thursday night. Speaking to our correspondent after the meeting, a member who requested anonymity said the outcome was positive and the final decision was adopted based on how the branches voted.
