Back in History: PRESIDENT UMARU MUSA YAR'ADUWA died today, 15 years ago (15 May 2010). He was the second Head of Nigeria to die at Aso Rock Villa after General Abacha who died in the same villa in 1998. Yaradua was critically ill and was first flown to Wiesbaden in Germany where he had always received treatment but later moved to Saudi Arabia. In Saudi his health condition did not improve. He was from there flown back to Nigeria to be treated at home in the Villa. Not long thereafter, His Excellency Umaru Yaradua passed on to the great beyond. He was flown to his home State of Katsina where he was buried in line with the tenets of his faith, Islam. He was survived by his dearly beloved wife, Turai and numerous children. Nigerians remember him as an honest President who played little of politics in any decision he took. He was a President who preferred to work for national interest. #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria #viralpost2025シ2025 #viralpost2025シ
